and welcome to AmateurPhotoArt.Com. My name is Rodd Dierker, I started this website in May of 2006 as a way to show off the results of my favorite hobby; amateur artistic photography, digital photography and photographic art.

Since childhood, I have enjoyed photography and creating photographic art. I lost touch with my hobby for more than a decade and have just once again started taking pictures.

In May of 2006 I purchased a Panasonic® Lumix® DMC-FZ30 fixed-lens digital camera from BeachCamera.Com (they were great!). So far I've found it to be a wonderful camera for a complete amateur, like myself. If you're interested in my opinions regarding this camera, click here read a short review.

I categorize photos as I add them. Select any category from the black menu above to see all of the pictures I've placed in the category. Note that I add pictures very often, so please feel welcomed to visit anytime you'd like.
